What's the chance that you are going to meet someone and they'll also be a carrier for cystic fibrosis? 1 in 22. 1 in 22 is a 5% chance. So that means somebody who knew that she was a carrier for cystic fibrosis knows that there's a 5% chance that the person they might marry will be a carrier for cystic fibrosis. These are actually meaningful numbers in the population, things people might want to know."
