Recently named to Time Magazine'sTop 10 List for 2012, and dubbed a "A Godsend!" by Ben Brantley of the New York Times, Forbidden Broadway has returned with an all-new, fresh view of the highs and lows of recent seasons: Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking! The celebrated roast of Broadway takes musical potshots at Once, The Book of Mormon, Spiderman, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Evita, Porgy and Bess, Anything Goes and Follies and more, and features outrageous costumes, hilarious rewrites of the songs you know, and dead-on impressions. This New York audience favorite has, over the years picked up a Special Tony Award, 9 Drama Desk Awards, an Obie, a Lucille Lortel Award, a Drama League Award.

Created and written by Gerard Alessandrini (2006 Special Tony Award for Excellence in the Theatre), who directs along with Phillip George (Whoop-Dee-Doo, Shout!), this production features Natalie Charlé Ellis, Scott Richard Foster, Jenny Lee Stern and Marcus Stevens.
