I'm a Personal Genomics Advocate with strong social media skills, interested in genomics entertainment.
Exploring personal genomics involves dedicated microchips. Navigating their own genome on their iPhone, thanks to an "app" that will show a list of variants that can be tailored to the patients' genomic data, and with the help of their physician, patients will be able to become the Risk Manager of their own genome... And oh, yes, of course, we will need to have those FDA guys on board!

"7.00x is an introductory level biology course hosted by professor Eric Lander, who was one of the leaders of the Human Genome Project. Although this course has been designed exclusively for edX, the course content reflects the topics taught in the MIT introductory biology courses and many biology courses across the world. Translating the potential of genomic medicine into routine healthcare is what I am most enthusiastic about. Can you imagine a genetically coded computer, with switches that are in DNA code (A-T-C-G); not in bit code (1-0)? Designing Life, the business and the ethics of synthetic biology, targeting gene mutations to cure cancer; not the organs: I want to be part of it!
