Developing Personal Health Records in Taiwan

"Microsoft has partnered with the Department of Health in Taiwan to pilot a cloud-based public health records solution. Launched in September 2012, the solution is a comprehensive public healthcare management platform designed to consolidate medical resources, improve the healthcare industry and showcase the development of cloud computing in Taiwan.
Under the pilot, citizens can manage their health records via a Personal Health Records (PHR) system deployed on Microsoft’s hybrid cloud platform. The system serves as an integrated data exchange portal for different healthcare institutions in Taiwan."
