Using mud to build bricks (to build Malaysia's main city, Kuala Lumpur) was a great idea. But did you know you can build bricks with different stuff? Not mud, but... living materials, like bacteria... Scientists are working on it. Tim Lu PhD at M.I.T. is building... bioBricks!
