I'd like to tell these physicians that I strongly disagree with them ...
From the top of my head, here are a few significant examples:
1) Thank you, Mr. Tim Burton ;-)
2) Ever heard of a Blog and website called "Foruforever"? This is a Belgian website. I love it, just like the Belgian chocolates and comics ... Their credo: "Death is part of life". This morning, I was reading their article about how teenagers react to death (read) ... It's pretty good ...
3) Speaking of teens and grieving ... how could I not mention the immensely popular Twilight saga? ...
A typical, average French physician (corporatism-oriented and driven) thinks that he has to proceed off his own bat ... Maybe that's the problem? ...
4) Hey guys, ever heard of one of your peers who is a worldwide famous American surgeon and journalist,
writing bestsellers about his real job? Please read this and get inspired!
Atul Gawande, MD, PhD, is the author of three bestsellers:
- "Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science" (2003)
- "Better: A Surgeon's Notes on Performance" (2008)
- "The checklist Manifesto" (2010)
