Welcome to the digital era of biology (and to this modest blog I started in early 2005).

To cure many diseases, like cancer or cystic fibrosis, we will need to target genes (mutations, for ex.), not organs! I am convinced that the future of replacement medicine (organ transplant) is genomics (the science of the human genome). In 10 years we will be replacing (modifying) genes; not organs!

Orange HealthCare est mort, vive Free HealthCare ?

On ne parle que de Xavier Niel, le nouveau Steve Jobs (lire), qui s'attaque au "Yalta de la téléphonie mobile", avec le nouveau forfait Free ... Y a pas photo, c'est le moins cher ... La formule magique est : 19,99 EUR-forfait-mobile-illimité ... Je me suis amusée à Googler "19,99", pour voir ... 6 280 000 000 résultats à 13h00 ...

On sait que l'e-santé (les systèmes d'information en santé, l'usage de l'iPhone ou de l'Android par les patients et soignants pour gérer une maladie chronique ou une situation d'urgence) a bien du mal à décoller en France, les soignants eux-mêmes ne sont pas séduits par les offres d'Orange HealthCare, par ex. On entend ainsi : "Orange, c'est des voleurs", ou encore : "Orange Healthcare, c'est trop cher ! On n'est pas des Américains !" ...

C'est le moment de demander à Xavier Niel, le grand patron de Free, s'il compte lancer une offre en e-santé ... La suite de ce petit film ? ...
