After low-cost airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet ...) comes "low-Coste"... information. Welcome to this modest blog I started in 2005. Some of my readers have recently christened this long-lasting, clumsy attempt at e-writing of mine "THE LOW-COSTE INNOVATION BLOG".

Catherine Coste, Marketing Assistant, Writer and Story Artist (movies, musicals), a Tim Burton fan (whose films are dealing with death, like this modest Blog - and sometimes we just hate it!), a Wellywood fan (the new Hollywood?)... I come from France (hopefully from that "2.0" part thing) and travel a lot: New-Zealand, Asia (Malaysia, Singapore), UK...

A death and health geek and travel buff of some kind, I love meeting new faces. People around me say I'm all about creativity and marketing, new ideas and sustainable everything.

My favorite book for 2013, year of the water snake? "Damn Good Advice (for people with talent!)" by George Lois. My family lives in Malaysia (plenty of opportunities for me to improve my Mandarin Chinese!), in NY and in Germany (I'm a German native speaker)...

James Cameron plans to start shooting the Avatar sequels (and prequel) in 2013 in NZ! How fantastic is that??

Don d'organes : liberté - égalité - gratuité ?

Petit séjour à Monaco ... je n'y reste cette fois-ci qu'une petite semaine, avec, eh oui ... un planning bien chargé ... Quand on voit tous ces gens (ultra-)fortunés qui possèdent parfois non pas une, mais des villas au Domaine du Cap-Martin, à Roquebrune Cap-Martin, par exemple, ou ailleurs sur la Côte d'Azur, et qu'on voit ce que signifie le temps pour eux (de l'argent ... beaucoup d'argent ...), on se dit : ces gens-là, s'ils ont besoin d'une greffe, n'ont pas le temps d'attendre ... Ils vont forcément payer pour avoir une greffe ...

Il n'y a pas de gens ultra-fortunés en dialyse ...

Alors, le don d'organes, anonyme et gratuit ... un joli conte, certes, mais quand vous rentrez (ne serait-ce que pour 10 mn) dans la sphère des puissants et des riches ... vous ne les voyez pas, mais alors pas du tout, patienter indéfiniment dans l'espoir d'une greffe, en étant inscrits sur la Liste Nationale des patients en attente de greffe ... Cela tombe sous le sens ...

Question : combien de (très) riches Français ont payé (cher) pour être greffés ? Il faut bien comprendre que, dans le contexte de la jet set, payer pour être greffé(e) ne constitue pas une exception ... mais la norme ...
