Welcome to the digital era of biology (and to this modest blog I started in early 2005).

To cure many diseases, like cancer or cystic fibrosis, we will need to target genes (mutations, for ex.), not organs! I am convinced that the future of replacement medicine (organ transplant) is genomics (the science of the human genome). In 10 years we will be replacing (modifying) genes; not organs!

"Astonishing Splashes of Colour"

With one of my favorite books: "Astonishing Splashes of Colour" by Clare Morrall, Man Booker Prize Finalist!
Still alive on this pic (taken today), though I'm working on the storyboard of two musicals and one "Tim Burton" (film) ... My co-writer is still alive too... Our brain (do we have one for both of us, or one for each of us? I'm not sure anymore...) is über-working... aaand we're both drained... So refreshing to read "Astonishing Splashes of Colour"! Thank you Clare Morrall for this lovely book...
