Welcome to the digital era of biology (and to this modest blog I started in early 2005).

To cure many diseases, like cancer or cystic fibrosis, we will need to target genes (mutations, for ex.), not organs! I am convinced that the future of replacement medicine (organ transplant) is genomics (the science of the human genome). In 10 years we will be replacing (modifying) genes; not organs!

Thank you for the conversations we've had on Skype between Feb. and August 2011, Steve. 

We should keep fighting for a better organization in health, where we need more pit crews and less lonesome cowboys as Doctors ... 

We need to heal medicine. 

Apple and Doctors should get together, in order to heal medicine. 

Don't believe those who say: "An Apple a day keeps the doctors away"... 

There's still a lot of work to be done, since the organization of our health system shows ... no design at all. We need Apple's design in health organization. Now. You knew it.
