Welcome to the digital era of biology (and to this modest blog I started in early 2005).
To cure many diseases, like cancer or cystic fibrosis, we will need to target genes (mutations, for ex.), not organs! I am convinced that the future of replacement medicine (organ transplant) is genomics (the science of the human genome). In 10 years we will be replacing (modifying) genes; not organs!

Le patient n'a jamais été mis au centre du système de santé/soins et nous sommes atteints d'un mal incurable : le hype médical.
Très peu probable que cela change, non ?
Il est par ailleurs fort probable que les big tech comme Apple et Google ne vont pas nous tendre nos données sur un plateau. Il faudrait un business type assurance avec des courtiers et des réassureurs en données santé (comme le business de l'assurance risque industriel, par exemple, avec assureurs, réassureurs et courtiers) et on ne voit pas cela arriver (le fameux : feel better, monetize your data).
