Welcome to the digital era of biology (and to this modest blog I started in early 2005).

To cure many diseases, like cancer or cystic fibrosis, we will need to target genes (mutations, for ex.), not organs! I am convinced that the future of replacement medicine (organ transplant) is genomics (the science of the human genome). In 10 years we will be replacing (modifying) genes; not organs!

I am an early adopter of scientific MOOCs. I've earned myself four MIT digital diplomas: 7.00x, 7.28x1, 7.28.x2 and 7QBWx. Instructor of 7.00x: Eric Lander PhD.

Job hunt



... en 7 clichés décalés...



En ce 7 septembre à 07h00 du matin (le chiffre 7 est censé porter chance), je me lance dans mes recherches d'un poste de chargée de communication trilingue (anglais, allemand, français) dans le domaine médical.



See if I can pull strings to get myself a job...Hang in there, sweetie!

Je me suis positionnée sur des postes d'assistanat de direction polyglotte, de chargée de communication, d’assistante de formation au sein de l'Assistance publique des hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) et de groupes médicaux privés. Ai envoyé CV et lettre de motivation. Keep your fingers crossed!

Suite de la saga "Job hunt": installer ma caméra Logitech QuickCam m'a pris un temps fou : forever and a day! Les logiciels de chez Logitech sont excellents, mais à mon avis le "Quick" relève de la pub mensongère, du moins au moment de l'installation.
