Welcome to the digital era of biology (and to this modest blog I started in early 2005).

To cure many diseases, like cancer or cystic fibrosis, we will need to target genes (mutations, for ex.), not organs! I am convinced that the future of replacement medicine (organ transplant) is genomics (the science of the human genome). In 10 years we will be replacing (modifying) genes; not organs!

Je ne suis qu'une étudiante enthousiaste, suivant ce MOOC entre le 10 septembre et le 16 décembre 2013 ... Voici votre mode d'emploi pour devenir des experts diplômés dans une science qui prend sa place au cœur de la médecine moderne : la génomique. De nombreux e-patients suivent cette formation 100% en ligne pour mieux comprendre leur risque génétique, mieux le gérer, donc mieux se former à leur maladie ou terrain génétique et interagir avec les soignants, en transversal. De nombreux médecins suivent ce MOOC afin de mettre à jour leurs connaissances dans une science qui évolue chaque jour un peu plus et qui se retrouve partout, du cœur à la pointe de la médecine d'aujourd'hui ... La génomique, la science qui nous permettra d'échapper au tout-génétique ...
